Different fabric constructions, lining and stretch levels absorb and reflect color differently. Decide whether the set requires a close visual coordination or a controlled tonal relationship, then record that expectation.
Approve each material against one target
Identify every lab dip by fabric and submission. Review materials together under the same lighting and layer condition. Do not assume a recipe developed for the legging fabric can be copied to the bra lining or rib panel.
Compare finished garments under strain
A legging is stretched more across hip and seat than a bra is across some zones. Evaluate the worn set and the flat set because the perceived shade can change with strain, backing and surface direction.
Preserve lot identity
Record roll or lot allocation, shade grouping and packing rules. If tops and bottoms are sold as a set, prevent a late packing process from pairing acceptable individual garments that do not match each other.
